“You Had Me at Hello!” is a value-packed 5-part course that will guide you, step-by-step, through training your puppy to have amazing greeting experiences with people.
Module One: Dialed-In
Getting and Keeping Your puppy’s attention outdoors & having him stay close
- Your puppy will develop laser-like focus on you
- Learn to stay close and return quickly when you call
Module Two: The Great Calm Down
Puppies develop impulse control by learning to calm themselves, stay focused (attuned to you), go to a quiet place, await instructions.
- Lower his/her heart rate and calm down – on cue.
- “Put it on PAWS” - Freeze and not move - on cue,
- Go to his/her bed and lay down – and wait till released,
- Preparing your puppy for the Great Outdoors
Module Three: Setting the Stage for Calm Greetings
A calm approach, greeting, and departure, setting up successful practice sessions, preparing others for greetings.

This course is designed to help you and your puppy succeed while making the learning process fun and rewarding!
Throughout the course, you'll follow puppies 8 weeks to 6 months old learning these lessons in Hillary's Nursery. This approach helps you understand the training process and learn how to solve challenges as they arise.

- Progressive Learning: Each lesson builds on the previous one, helping to boost your puppy’s confidence and ensuring that new skills are generalized effectively.
